Dr Eugene Dubossarsky has been at the centre of the data science industry from its earliest days in the 2000s. In this lecture he will reflect on its inception, discuss its growth, and speculate on its future.

About the Speaker

Dr Dubossarsky is Director and Principal Trainer at Presciient. He is a founder of Data Science Sydney — a community of over 2000 data scientists and the Sydney Users of R Forum. He holds a Bachelor Degree with Honours from UNSW Sydney and a PhD from UTS, Sydney.
