Dates & Times: 8:30 am – 5:00 pm daily; 20–21 November 2018
Venue: Building 80, Level 7, Room 1; RMIT University, Melbourne

The world is changing around us. Optimisation — which used to be hidden behind closed doors — is now at our fingertips shaping the way in which we live our lives, move our goods, and make our decisions. From healthcare, marketing, transport and manufacturing through to the deployment of next generation fibre networks, optimisation is core to working in the 21st century.

The Biarri Applied Mathematics Conference is a free two-day forum that provides insight into how organisations apply optimisation and mathematical techniques to solve problems in the real world.

This year the BAM Conference will be bringing together innovators, scholars and thinkers to focus on ‘Invisible Intelligence’ and through expert presentations, lightning talks and panel discussions demonstrate how we are using optimisation and mathematics behind the scenes to keep our world moving.

Who should attend?

  • Innovators Individuals and businesses looking to apply optimisation.
  • Scholars Individuals and organisations from academia looking to see how optimisation is being applied.
  • Thinkers The individuals wanting to get some expert opinion and analysis in the application of optimisation.
  • Anyone and everyone Want to see where maths and optimisation can take you and your business?
It’s free!
