One of the giants of modern number theory, Benedict Gross (Leverett Professor, Harvard University), is visiting the University of Melbourne and we are pleased to announce

Number Theory Days: 5–10 February 2009

Among the activities will be the following talks in the Richard Berry building (Maths) at The University of Melbourne:

    Benedict Gross (Harvard): Integral ζ-values and the number of Automorphic representations


Everyone is welcome and all talks will be given with the expectation that there will be non- number theorists in the audience.
