Closing date: 31st October 2011The School and Benowa Teacher Education Centre of Excellence offers a unique opportunity for talented and experienced science, technology, engineering and mathematics professionals to kick-start a teaching career!
Students are supported throughout the program by a dedicated, trained teacher mentor who has been recognised as an expert in their field.
Through BTECE, you’ll gain school-based experiences which foster teaching and learning skills that will ensure student engagement and improved learning outcomes, and the integration of 21st century elearning in classroom environments.
Successful graduates will be awarded a postgraduate teaching qualification from Griffith University and will be prioritised for permanent employment across South East Queensland (subject to the conditions).
