UNSW Foundation Year is a one-year preparation program for over 700
international students at the University of New South Wales. The program
is conducted by NewSouth Global, the international education, training
and consulting company of the University.
Applications are
invited from suitably qualified and experienced teachers at senior secondary
or undergraduate level who wish to join a dynamic team in cross cultural
education. This is a full-time position based at the UNSW Kensington
campus and is offered from July 2005.
Duties include
large group lecture and classroom instruction and associated activities,
student assessment including exam preparation and curriculum development.
Previous experience working in a commercial educational environment
and teaching students from different linguistic and ethnic backgrounds
would be viewed favourably.
