A top up scholarship is available for an outstanding Australian resident who are applying for an APA or CUPS(Curtin University Postgraduate Scholarship). The top up scholarship is funded by an ARC research grant and will raise the value of the APA/CUPS to $22,000 - $25,000 (tax free) per year.

The successful applicant is expected to carry out research in the area of computational mathematics with particular focus on simulation of granular flows.

Applicants must hold a First Class Honours degree or equivalent in Mathematics or relevant Engineering & Science discipline with a strong background/research interest in mathematical modelling and numerical methods.
