Applications are
invited for a PhD scholarship in Engineering Mathematics with particular
focus on computational geomechanics and optimisation.
The PhD scholarship
offers an annual stipend of $23000-$26000 tax free, for a period of
three years. In addition, paid tutoring and teaching work may also available.
Applicants must
hold a First Class or Level 2A Honours degree or equivalent in Mathematics,
Computing or relevant Engineering discipline.
The scholarship
is funded by an Australian Research Council linkage grant and, as a
condition of the grant, is only available to Australian citizens or
permanent residents of Australia.
