PhD Scholarship
Mathematical Economics and Resource Modeling
RMIT

Scholarship Description:

A PhD scholarship funded by the ARC Discovery project in mathematical economics and resource modeling is available in the School of Mathematical and Geophysical Sciences at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. The candidate will work closely with A\Prof. Andrew Eberhard, Dr Sergei Schreider at RMIT along with other researchers at Cambridge University, Monash University and the University of Blaise Pascal, France. The expected research will include the theoretical work and practical applications of the results for sustainable management of land and water resources.

Payment Information:

The value of this scholarship is at least AU$24,388 pa for three years. Additional research assistance and/or tutor income may also be available with the school.

Eligibility:

First class or second class 1 division honours in mathematics, civil engineering, IT, science, or economics, or equivalent. The applicant must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, or New Zealand citizen.
