SGES seeks a postdoctoral research fellow to work on integrated impact
assessment. The selectee may address atmospheric circulation, fire,
sea ice, extreme weather and other relevant environmental factors. Duties
may include analysis of a range of environmental data; design and analysis
of atmospheric and coastal model experiments; development of reduced
form models. Experience in Fortran or C, UNIX, IDL, and climate or meteorological
modelling desired.
The appointee will
be expected to commence work in March 2004.
Applicants may be
eligible for travel and removal expenses.
Salary range: $54,864
- $65,152 p.a. Level B. Plus generous superannuation contributions.
Duration: Two-year
