A research programmer / project manager is sought for a group researching
projects aimed at the integrated assessment of the impacts of climate
variability. The selectee will conduct guided research tasks including
the development and running of computer models; quality control data
from a range of sources; prepare reports and maintain a project library.
MSc or PhD required. Experience in Fortran or C, UNIX, IDL, and climate
or meteorological modelling desired.
The appointee will
be expected to commence work in March 2004.
Applicants may be
eligible for travel and removal expenses.
Salary range: $38,406
- $52,121 p.a. Level A. Plus generous superannuation contributions.
Duration: Two-year
