At CSIRO Mathematical and Information Sciences, we solve problems across a wide range of industries using our skills base and the results of our research in information technology, mathematics and statistics. CSIRO recognises that we need to link with Australian Universities to ensure that we have emerging talent in areas critical to Australia's future success.

We are offering a range of scholarships from one to three years for students commencing Honours or PhD studies in 2003.

One full PhD scholarship of $25,000 pa.

Supplementary PhD Scholarships (top-ups) up to $12,000 pa.

Honours up to $5000.

Scholarships are only available to Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

PhD scholarship applicants must hold First Class or Level 2A Honours degree or equivalent.
