he successful applicant
will join a new collaborative research group in the area of ecological
risk analysis and complex systems science. The position is to carry
out risk analysis for biosecurity of the grains industry. This project
will not only tackle some specific issues in biosecurity of the grains
industry but also begin to build capacity in
biosecurity risk analysis because these skills are in very short supply
in relation to demand.
You will have a
PhD in ecology, but with strong statistical/mathematical abilities,
or in a branch of applied mathematics, but with a strong interest in
ecology.
