Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Fellow/Research
Fellow which will be offered on a full-time, fixed-term basis for a period
of up to 3 years. The position is jointly funded by the Antarctic Climate
& Ecosystems Cooperative Research Centre (ACE CRC) and the Quantitative
Marine Science Program (QMS). We seek to appoint a research scientist with
interests in climate variability and change of the Southern Hemisphere. We
are keen to improve our understanding of how the ocean and atmosphere of
the Southern Ocean influences the climate of Australia.
The appointee must possess a PhD in a relevant area of science, such as applied mathematics, oceanography,
meteorology, atmospheric physics or quantitative marine science.
