The University of Waikato invites applications for a Lecturer in Mathematics within the Department of Mathematics, commencing no later than 1 June 2003.

This is a continuing (i.e. tenure track) position. The successful applicant will have a PhD degree in mathematics and have demonstrated the ability to sustain a successful teaching and research career. The appointee will be expected to contribute to the department's teaching programme in algebra, analysis, or mathematical foundations of computer science. Preference may be given to candidates whose research interests are similar to those of present staff.

The current salary range for Lecturers is NZ$46,564 - NZ$57,244 per annum.
