Applicants should have a PhD and an excellent research and teaching record in either the applied mathematics and modeling of real world problems or specialist commercial FEM packages and their use in engineering applications or software packages used in mathematics education and development of online courses.

Experience with the computer packages Matlab, Maple and/or Mathematica or commercial FEM packages is desirable. A strong teaching record at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and evidence of collaborative work with industry, are desirable.
