The AGSM is a joint venture of UNSW and The University of Sydney and is a School of both Universities. The AGSM is a leading graduate business school in Australia and offers a full range of programs including a full-time and part-time MBA, an Executive MBA, a PhD Program and an extensive range of executive programs.

The AGSM is seeking to fill a position at either the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level in the field of Statistics.

Essential criteria for Senior Lecturer: a PhD or equivalent; capacity for academic leadership; a significant record of achievement in independent research; a significant record of high quality teaching at postgraduate level; demonstrated achievement in administration; demonstrated capacity to interact successfully with industry; ability to implement equity and diversity policies and programs.

Essential criteria for Lecturer: a PhD or equivalent; demonstrated capacity to conduct research; a record or potential for high quality teaching at postgraduate level; capacity to make a contribution to administration in an academic environment; capacity to interact with industry; understanding of equity and diversity principles.

Desirable criteria for both positions: an established research network; capacity to teach MBA students; publications in top tier journals; the ability to develop learning materials.

The salary range for Lecturer is $53,216 - $63,196 pa and Senior Lecturer is $65,190 - $75,169 pa depending on qualifications and experience.

A market loading will be negotiated for suitably qualified applicants appointed at either level.

The position is full-time (continuing). Membership of a University-approved superannuation scheme is a condition of employment for this position. Subject to the approval of the AGSM Board, the appointee may undertake a limited amount of higher level consultative work.
