is an exciting opportunity to work in the newly formed Department
of Mathematics and Statistics at RMIT. Applicants with backgrounds
in modern applied areas of Mathematics are encouraged to apply.
The Department has a particular interest in recruiting staff to
work in mathematical modelling and optimisation.
You will be
required to teach in undergraduate Mathematics programs, Engineering
and other service programs, postgraduate programs, and to carry
out research and consulting in an area of interest to the Department.
You should
have a relevant PhD and an excellent research record in your
area of Mathematics. A strong teaching record at both undergraduate
and postgraduate level, and evidence of successful research
project management and collaboration with industry and other
institutions is desirable.
