The Faculty of Health Sciences is a leader in health and medical research in South Australia. We are seeking to further enhance our capacity to attract external grants and to assist our postgraduate research students complete their degrees.

You will implement the Faculty's plan to provide academics, technical staff and postgraduate students in health and biomedical research with advice on study design, data management and statistical analysis associated with applications for external grants, thesis proposals and publications.

You should have:

• an undergraduate degree in mathematical statistics or close equivalent
• research higher degree at Masters or Doctoral level
• demonstrated capacity to work effectively in a small team
• ability to communicate statistical principles and methods effectively to academic staff, research offers and postgraduate students.

This fixed-term position is available immediately for a period of three years.
