Business/Commerce, Economics/Finance, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil), Industrial Relations/Human Resources, Communications/Marketing, Information Technology (Systems/Business Analysis), Mathematics/ Statistics, Transport Logistics and Safety/OHS Management.

State Rail operates passenger rail services and associated feeder coach networks within the Sydney metropolitan and outer-urban areas and regional centres of NSW. The organisation has a strong customer focus which is delivered through the CityRail and CountryLink passenger services.

State Rail's business is moving people.

It aims to be a responsible, innovative and customer-oriented passenger rail organisation; and increase patronage, expand the passenger rail network and reduce its net cost to the
Government.

The three year Graduate Program is designed to establish a future pool of professional staff
across a variety of specialisations who have the technical skills, managerial capabilities and an understanding of the critical success areas to assist in achieving State Rail’s long term corporate goals.
