The ARC is a prestigious, national agency that works with the broad research community to support the advancement of knowledge and contribute to national innovation.
The ARC is offering the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team assisting Expert Advisory Committees in the selection processes for new research grants. The duties of the positions vary but include undertaking day-to-day administration of various research programs. The occupants of these positions will be expected to possess a high level of interpersonal skills.

The applicant may be required to:

  • provide program support to the ARC
  • manage and administer selected research grant programs
  • prepare policy advice, briefings and correspondence
  • undertake research and analysis
  • liaise with universities, researchers and other relevant organisations and individuals
  • manage and maintain ARC statistical databases.

The environment is characterised by peak workloads and flexibility in the deployment of staff resources to meet tight deadlines.
