Total remuneration package valued to: $66,423 pa.

Trainees will gain experience in biostatistics through supervised full-time work-based placements.

Selection Criteria: Honours degree majoring in Statistics, or equivalent. Extensive experience in use of statistical software packages for manipulation and analysis of data sets. Interest in application of statistical methods to the analysis of health data sets. Good communication skills, including skills in scientific writing. Good consultation and negotiation skills. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team. Common selection criteria also apply.

Notes: Trainees will undertake a Masters degree in Biostatistics or Medical Statistics part-time. University fees will be paid by the Department and appropriate study leave will be granted. These are temporary appointments.
