The Australian Prudential
Regulation Authority (APRA) regulates the Australian
banking, insurance and superannuation industries. We supervise $1.5
trillion in
assets on behalf of nearly 20 million Australians. APRA's mission is
to establish
and enforce prudential standards and practices aimed at protecting the
interests
of depositors, policyholders and superannuation fund members.
The Analysts and
Senior Analysts are responsible for undertaking reviews of
institutions to assess the standard of risk management systems and compliance
with relevant legislation and prudential standards.This involves the
analysis of
financial data both on and off site, identifying trends and preparing
concise
reports for the team manager. These roles may require regular intra
state travel.
The successful candidates
will be degree qualified, preferably in commerce,
finance, law or accounting and have demonstrated excellent communication
and
analytical skills.Working experience in finance, banking or superannuation
would be highly regarded. Opportunities are available for career development
