Public Service Departments are recruiting online for their 2002 graduate intake.

Applications opened last week and will be accepted until 5pm on 1 June 2001.

The nine departments involved in the online venture include the:
Health Insurance Commission

Department of Family and Community Services

Department of Industry, Science and Resources

National Archives of Australia.

The advantage of the new website is that graduates need submit only one resume to be considered for jobs in any of the nine departments.

Opportunities in arease such as information technology, science, record preservation, economics, languages and law are on offer, as well as placements in more general roles.

Salaries start at about $33,000pa and all graduates are based in Canberra.
