Senior Planning Analyst

Total remuneration package to: $75,379.00 ($61,987.00-$68,309.00) Total remuneration package includes employer’s contribution to superannuation and leave loading.

Review and quantitative evaluation of health service and capital planning proposals in relation to statewide issues. To provide advice on health services and clinical
service planning proposals and initiatives, including specialist diagnostic and treatment services and technology. Analysis of inpatient and non inpatient activity and
cost data utilised in clinical service planning; capital works planning and cross Area flow analysis. Analysis, review and preparation of policy advice concerning
Departmental and Area Health Service plans and policy.

Selection Criteria:

  • Demonstrated highly developed analytical and quantitative skills using software packages such as Access, Excel and SAS.
  • Demonstrated experience in activity projection and modelling.
  • Experience in health service planning and knowledge of NSW Health finance, budgeting and activity, NSW Health information systems and current issues affecting the provision of health services.
  • Highly developed written, oral communication and organisational skills.
  • Experience in working effectively in a team environment with minimum supervision.
  • Advanced word processing skills.
  • Common selection criteria also apply.

This is a permanent position.
