The ABS is Australia's official statistical agency which provides the nation with a wide range of social, economic and environmental statistics. The Environment and Energy Section is the focal point for environment statistics at the ABS and this section is planning to expand.

We are seeking people with:

• a knowledge of environmental and natural resource management issues and/or policies;
• well developed research and communication skills; and
• a capacity to manage projects and staff.
