Total remuneration package valued up to $75,379 pa.

Undertake complex and detailed statistical analysis of various information databases using data mining and similar statistical analysis techniques. Provide timely, expert advice to the Manager, Data Mining Unit on the application of data modelling and related computer based statistical Analysis tools and assist with initial development of projects and ongoing support to various business units.

Selection Criteria: Experience with writing statistical programs in a statistical environment. Familiarity with data mining concepts and experience with data mining software (preferably SAS Enterprise Miner). Demonstrated achievements in statistically oriented research. Demonstrated experience in the preparation of reports on complex research issues. Excellent research, evaluation, analytical and strategic thinking and problem solving skills. Capacity to apply non-ideal data in innovative ways to address complex issues. Demonstrated experience in successfully managing competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Common selection criteria also apply.
