Total remuneration package valued to $83,121.

Responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of the preparation of the examinations in Mathematics; exercising a leadership role in the marking of the School Certificate Mathematics Test and related appeals; liaising with subject specialists from a variety of disciplines in the development, implementation and monitoring of programs relating to student assessment and examination; supplying the Board with advice on matters relating to testing and measurement.

Selection criteria:

• Appropriate tertiary qualification.
• Outstanding recent teaching experience in government or non-government schools.
• An understanding of teh principles and practices underlying effective assessing, examining and marking.
• An awareness of current trends in assessment and measurement.
• Oral and written communication skills of a high standard.
• Knowledge of Mathematics Tests, or HSC examinations.
• Experience in the use of computers.
• Experience in the preparation of printed material.
• Common selection criteria apply.
