The ITR is seeking to recruit policy analysts and advisers to a range of positions within Innovation and Industry Policy Division. The vacant positions offer opportunities in the development of policy and the challenge to stay abreast of initiatives in the business and innovation communties.

ITR is looking for highly-motivated people to undertake economic, business, financial and market analysis, and the development of innovation and industry policy. We are seeking dynamic critical thinkers interested in working to influence the direction of Australian innovation and industry policy. If you have excellent analytical, research and communication skills, then we would like to hear from you.

Innovation and Industry Policy Division provides rigorous and constructive analysis on innovation and industry support proposals and on general economic issues affecting business from an economy wide perspective. In particular, the Division provides information and expertise to the Minister and other parts of the Department on taxation, trade policy, innovation, venture capital and broad economic indicators.
