Weapons Systems Division

Duties: You will join a team working on the development and evaluation of weapons
systems to enhance the firepower capability of the ADF through the application of novel
technologies, with a particular focus on the Metal Storm technology.

The position requires:

Experience in the development, evaluation and validation of mathematical
models;
Demonstrated ability in the development of hardware and software for safe
application of electrically initiated and electronically controlled tube launched
weapons systems;
A high level of interpersonal and communication skills;
Ability to liaise with internal and external project members and ADF personnel;
Project management skills.

NOTE: This is a non-ongoing position. The position will be filled on a
Specified Term basis for a period of 18 months. It is expected (subject
to operational requirements) the term of employment may be extended
by a further 18 months
