APRA regulates the Australian banking, insurance and superannuation industries. We supervise $1.4 trillion in assets on behalf of nearly 20 million Australians. APRA's mission is to establish and enforce prudential standards and practices aimed at protecting the interests of depositors, policyholders and superannuation fund members.

In this role you will:

• develop statistical reports for customers within and external to APRA;
• compile national statistics publications on the finance sector;
• undertake analysis projects to aid APRA in its supervision of institutions; and
• contribute to the ongoing improvement of the operations of the Statistics Unit.
