You will contribute
to a program researching the integration of Human Factors in maritime
systems, and the analysis of these systems and the development of appropriate
mathematical models.
The position requires:
- A sound knowledge
and understanding of mathematical modelling techniques for
one or more of the following: human factors, systems modelling, mathematical
modelling, task network analysis, operations analysis and economic
modelling;
- Demonstrated
initiative, motivation and professional judgement in solving problems
in
science, engineering or human factors;
- Sound interpersonal
and communication skills in written, oral and computer-based
form, including the ability to provide presentations and write reports.
A Degree or Diploma
in Human Factors, Engineering, Mathematics or Physical Sciences
from an Australian tertiary institution, a comparable overseas qualification,
or equivalent
relevant research experience is highly desirable.
