Researcher / Analyst

Salary - $26,259 - $60,000

Researcher Analysts work in multi-disciplined investigation teams and are responsible for providing operational support, through gathering, interpreting and analysing information, as part of investigating the illegal activities, movements, associations and assets of suspected criminals, as well as providing research support and advice for investigations.

Selection Criteria:
Researcher / Analysts are required to collect, interpret and analyse large volumes of data and communicate their findings within a team environment. In order to qualify for this work, applicants must be able to demonstrate:

  • academic achievement in a research-related field
  • analytical ability
  • written and oral communication skills
  • skills in the use of computerised information systems
  • capacity to work in a multi-disciplinary team
  • high levels of output.

There is also a focus on confiscation of assets of serious criminals, and applicants must have an appitutde for the interpretation of financial data.
