You will lead a branch of approximately 40 scientists engaged in the conceptualisation, development and evaluation of military systems for the Land Force. You will also provide high level advice to the Australian Defence Organisation.

The position requires:

• A PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Applied Science or a similar field, or comparable relevant qualifications.
• Demonstrated management, leadership and communication skills.
• A record of high level achievement in one of the fields relevant to the branch's R&D program.
