Salary range: $48,413 - $56,188 pa or $63,736 - $68,859 pa

We are seeking practical and innovative scientists or mathematicians to assist ASIO's security intelligency analysis, particularly in support of counter terrorism. The appointees will be expected to research, develop and use numerical, graphical, and statistical techniques to progress inquiries as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will have demonstrated scientific research skills and be innovative, people-orientated, a self-starter, and able to work well in an interdisciplinary role. You will have excellent communication and liaison skills. You will have a higher degree in a discipline which uses complex quantitative methods to solve research problems; or an Honours degree in such a discipline and at least two years relevant research experience.
