AFMA is seeking a Data Manager to manage the operations of the Database Coordination Group and data entry contractors. The successful applicant will have primary responsibility for ensuring AFMA obtains, grades and stores data which is relevant, accurate and cost effective in meeting requirements for fisheries stock assessments and for monitoring.

As Data Manager you will: provide strong technical and strategic management of the data program; have good project management, analytical and problem solving skills; have high level communication and negotiation skills; and have relevant tertiary qualifications such as data management, natural resource management, economics/statistics or related fields.
