As a member of a team you will contribute to a research program investigating current and future Electronic Warfare (EW) systems to improve the war-fighting capability of existing and yet to be acquired Australian Defence Force maritime platforms.

The position requires:

• Ability to apply scientific principles and concepts, including investigation, analysis and problem solving;
• Good analytical, numerical and computing skills;
• Knowledge, or a demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge, relevant to radar and EW principles;
• Experience in simulation modelling and its application to system studies;
• A PhD , degree or diploma in Physics or Applied Mathematics or equivalent research experience.
