The position is located in the Means Test Policy Section of the Seniors and Means Test Branch.

The occupant of the position will be responsible for undertaking policy analysis and development (including the development of micro-policy) in relation to the application of the means test to retirement income streams products. The occupant will also be responsible for providing advice on income streams matters to the Minister, the Executive in FaCS, Departmental/Centrelink staff and outside agencies.

It is expected that the successful applicant will have appropriate tertiary qualifications, preferably in the areas of finance (including financial advising), economics, law, actuarial studies or quantitative analysis.
