The occupant of this senior specialised position is responsible for directing educational measurement for the VCE and P-10 programs and for directing research, evaluation and reporting activities at the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority. The division will be responsible for all aspects of educational measurement and statistical analysis and lead the VCAA's research activities. Key functions of the division include coordination of research, test development, statistical moderation and data management and analysis records.

The successful applicant will have:

• An extensive research background and have contributed to knowledge, policy and practice involving educational measurement and testing.
• A postgraduate tertiary qualification.
• Knowledge of Victoria's education system.
