Policy Analyst & Senior Analyst
APRA (Australian Prudential Regulation Authority)
Sydney CBD

APRA is the single prudential regulator of around 85% of Australia's financial sector assets. Its mission is to establish and enforce prudential standards and practices aimed at protecting the interests of depositors, policyholders and superannuation fund members.

The Analyst and Senior Analyst roles play an important part in APRA's efforts to develop prudential standards for regulated financial institutions. This involves providing policy advice and conducting liaison within APRA and externally on policy issues, having regard to government policy preferences, international regulatory trends and good industry practice. While these roles enjoy the diversity of working across all industries regulated by APRA, there will be a strong focus on superannuation.

The ideal candidate will possess: strong degree in a rigorous discipline; interest in financial sector issues and developing policy advice; strong liaison and team skills and good written expression; and a background in superannuation would be highly regarded.

If you join APRA you will be working in a best practice, professional environment supported by structured training programs. We offer the opportunity for continuous personal development, plus advancement and attractive rewards based on performance.
