supplies R&D and associated technology services to the upstream petroleum
industry.
We are seeking to
appoint a numerical modeller to work in an existing team which is developing
and applying forward numerical models in the prediction of basin and
reservoir stratigraphy away from wells.
Within the team,
you will be responsible for applying numerical modelling skills to the
further development of existing code and developing new approaches to
large scale hydrodynamic modelling.
You will have a
PhD, or experience in numerical hydrodynamic modelling, with a preference
for coastal or fluvial process simulation. You will have competent knowledge
of fluid flow and sediment entrainment. Good mathematical and computing
skills are required as well as experience with scientific code development.
The position will
be based in Perth, Western Australia. Remuneration will be commensurate
with qualification and experience.
