The
Assessments & Reports Team undertakes research and analysis, provides
advice and prepares assessments and reports in respect of highly specific
matters such as individual complaints of serious police misconduct or
potential subjects for investigation; thematic or regional issues relating
to serious police misconduct; or matters where the Commission has conducted
a public hearing.
Selection
Criteria: Planning, information collection and research skills; high
level oral and written communication skills; problem solving skills
and sound judgment; analytical skills and an understanding of modern
analytical methodology as practised in multi-disciplinary investigation
agencies; excellent interpersonal, liaison and negotiation skills; good
organisational skills and a demonstrated ability to manage a demanding
workload in a fluctuating work environment; demonstrated knowledge of
contemporary computer technology and its application to research and
a proven capacity to access, operate and interrogate information management
systems; a proven record of integrity, tact and ability to maintain
confidentiality; and an understanding of EEO, EAPS and OH&S policies
and principles.
