The major role of the Market Analyst is to assist the Manager, Industry Development and Analysis to model the economic impact of changes to supply and demand factors in the community care industry, which is located in a mixed economy.

Tertiary qualifications in a social science or related discipline, including economics and quantitative methods; proven ability to develop financial/economic models; proven ability to interpret and present market data in a form suitable for public distribution; project management skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in the use of statistical analysis techniques, particularly those related to the social sciences; experience in the management and analysis of large data sets using Microsoft Office software applications; knowledge of health and community care markets in NSW and the current drivers of policy change.
