Two year contract

The Australian Transport Safety Bureau is seking to recruit an experienced researcher to coordinate the work of the bureau's aviation safety research team.

The successful applicant will have a comprehensive knowledge of the aviation industry, will be experienced in managing applied research, and will be familiar with statistical packages such as SPSS or SAS. A degree in psychology or another discipline relevant to transport safety, would be an advantage.

A higher remuneration package may be negotiated through a workplace agreement, subject to qualifications and experience.

Applicants must be Australian citizens. Applicants who have a permanent resident status and have or intend to apply for Australian citizenship may be considered for engagement.
