You will work in a small team developing and using models and simulations at various levels of complexity to assess both the performance of sensor and weapon systems and the tactical effectiveness of maritime surface combatants and aircraft.

The position requires:

• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain scientific concepts to non-scientists;
• Knowledge relevant to the analysis of maritime operations;
• A PhD in disciplines relevant to mathematical modelling of physical processes, or equivalent qualification and experience.
