You
will work in a small team conducting research into the modelling and
experimentation of fibre optic systems operating in environments of
interest to the ADF. The work involves the validation of model performance
in the laboratory and at sea.
The
position requires:
- Knowledge of
fibre optic sensors and systems;
- Good communication
and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to liaise
effectively with scientists and military personnel;
- A PhD or degree
in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Physics
or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent qualifications
and experience.
