Technical Consultant - Matlab

This software company is a premier provider of statistical and mathematical modeling tools. Their products are used within the majority of financial markets trading environments amongst others. As a result of growth, they are currently looking at bringing on board a Technical Consultant.
In your new role you will work closely with the Sales team to provide pre-sales support and consulting services. You will give product presentations, support your clients’ RFP processes and work closely with the product development team to continue to improve the products. There will also be opportunities to travel to the US.
If you’ve been in a technical role for the last few years and feel like a bit of a change and being much more business facing then this role will give you that exposure!
For this role you will need:
- A degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or Computer Science (Honours and Masters will be advantageous)
- The equivalent of 5 years minimum experience in using Matlab
- Experience in a client facing capacity dealing direct with the business
Given this is a consulting role, you will be expected to present professionally and have exceptional English communication skills.
