The Data Architect is responsible for providing and maintaining a documented global picture of current and future data relationships and transactional flows, including database entity relationships and application functionality maps. The Data Architect will provide advice and guidance on proposed enhancements and modifications to the existing arthchitecture in accordance with the direction of the ICT Strategic and Architectural Plans.

With the IS Architecture Group, the Data Architect will project a forward picture of data infrastructure and environmental needs and the associated transitional plans to ensure Country Energy's business objectives can be met.

To be successful, you will have the following skills, knowledge and experience:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in systems analysis.
• At least 3 years experience in a senior technical role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of contemporary information technologies and their application(s).
• Extensive experience in applications and database software design.
• Strong understanding of transactional and business data process flows.
• Experience in systems architecture and design within a large networked enterprise environment.
• Strong technical writing, verbal and written skills.
• Proven ability to think and act in an innovative and strategic manner.
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment.
• Knowledge of the Australian energy industry and enterprise architectures.
• Knowledge of and commitment to Safety, EEO and Customer Service.
