Game Designer
Vision Gaming

 

Hours: 38 per week (2 years commitment minimum)

Vacancies: 1 (looking to start March 2006) 

Our Business:     Vision Gaming develops and designs games for the gaming/gambling industry worldwide. We produce the combinations, specifications and graphics from which games are developed.

Mathematician / Game Designer

Your main task will involve:

Developing mathematical calculations for gaming machine games (pokies), including preparing specifications for implementing gaming designs.

We need you if you:  

1.      Possess a tertiary qualification with a solid background in probability statistics and mathematics;

2.      Possess advanced abilities to use Excel to handle mathematical problems or abilities to implement spreadsheet solutions to mathematical problems;

3.      Understand and are able to develop written specifications for implementation of mathematical models;

4.      Are organised, precise, and like (love) mathematical/combinations/logics theory problems;

5.      Are a quick learner, passionate about mathematical problems, self-motivated, and are able to work in a team environment being prepared to share projects and ideas.

6.      Are creative and imaginative in order to design new game/maths concepts.

7.      Possess good written and oral communication skills, are organised and prepared to work under tight work schedules.

Experience:    Experience not necessary. Knowledge of the gaming industry is helpful.
