Job Description: Leading Australian bank is experiencing rapid growth in their Group Risk division. They require experienced SAS programmers with exposure to large data sets and ability to analyze complex problems. You will have a degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or Economics. You must have around 2 yrs min. experience in a commercial data analysis role, working with the manipulation of large data sets using SAS. Preferable to this role would be finance / insurance industry experience and statistical model building. Also relevant would be experience in risk analytics, ie scorecard modeling or similar. This position offers the opportunity to join a leading edge risk management division with high level quantitative skills. A high percentage of project work will be Basel II related.

Salary up to $70k base dependant on experience.
