Technical Analyst
TSG Consulting
Perth and Melbourne
(two positions)

TSG Consulting specialises in providing simulation modelling services to blue chip Australian and international mining, manufacturing, processing and infrastructure clients. With offices in Perth and Melbourne, TSG is dedicated to adding value to our client’s operations by using the latest discrete event simulation, operations research, modelling and analytical techniques.

The Opportunity

Two analyst level positions - one Melbourne and one Perth based.

  • Exposure to all aspects of the consulting process from problem definition, data gathering and analysis to model development, scenario evaluation and client presentations.
  • Professional growth within the role with development of both technical / analytical expertise and consulting / project management skills.

This opportunity will be limited only by your ability to provide value to our clients and to contribute to the growth of the company.

The Successful Candidate will score highly against the following criteria:

  • Graduates with up to two years experience.
  • Tertiary qualification in – Engineering, Mathematics / Statistics, Operations Research, Science.
  • A logical approach to problem solving.
  • Sound Excel knowledge and competent programming skills.
  • Excellent conceptual skills and a flair for developing models to simulate real world systems.
  • An ability to confidently and concisely deliver presentations to clients.
  • Exposure to the Resources sector.
  • Experience in Arena, Extend or other modelling tools and techniques including process modelling.
